National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC)

NSDC is a first-of-its-kind Public-Private Partnership (PPP) in India that facilitates skill development. A large part of its efforts are directed at skill development programmes in the unorganised sector. NSDC acts as a catalyst in skill development by providing funding to enterprises, companies and organisations that provide skill training. It will also develop appropriate models to enhance, support and coordinate private sector initiatives. The differentiated focus for the 36 sectors under NSDC’s purview and its understanding of their viability will make every sector attractive to private investment.
 


Non Funding:
            ICRDCE has become a Non Funding Partner with NSDC. As per this partnership, the students will be trained by ICRDCE associate Community Colleges in India and their skills will be duly certified by NSDC in 38 Job roles from 16 Sector Skill Councils (SSC’s). There are 111 Community Colleges are part of Non funding proposal

Funding:

Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojana (PMKVY 2.0) is the flagship scheme of the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship (MSDE). The objective of this Skill Certification Scheme is to enable a large number of Indian youth to take up industry relevant skill training that will help them in securing a better livelihood. ICRDCE has become a Training Provider (TP: TP003460) of PMKVY 2.0 Scheme. ICRDCE has taken the responsibility of training youth in the year, 2017-2018.
